Exclamation Am I Dumb?

I know this sounds insanely stupid and, yes, dumb, but how do you get a picture up with your profile. For one reason or another it wouldn't let me when I tried uploading one that I had on my computer. Am I doing something wrong or am I just missing something?

You mean an avatar like my oh so lovely Skeletor on the right? Assuming you've already found the User CP and the edit Avatar button there's a size limit on Avatars here. They need to be 100x100 pixels and less than 20KB. If it's over that you can't post it. Failing that, what file format are you using? I believe the boards only recognize certain image types, too.

Question Picture Post

Most of the ones I have been trying to post are relatively small. I found various ones that I liked and sent them directly to My Pictures folder. From there some have been under the 100 x 100 format and show as my picture for my profile. But it is never there when I post even though it shows that its my picture in the CP link under Edit Picture. So I know I've got some that are a reasonable size. What do I do now?

Oh, you're trying to add a profile picture, huh? No, you want Edit Avatar. I think we have profile pics turned off or otherwise disabled.

Actually, your majesty, it's enabled. Check out the nice picture of Elijah Snow in sepia tones in my profile .
